Astana is the modern capital of Kazakhstan, located in the heart of the country. The city is famous for its futuristic architecture combined with traditions and innovation. The Paralympics Training Centre in Astana was a dedicated facility for the training of national and reserve Paralympic sports teams, opened in 2018 as part of the Tugan Zher state program. Located in the Karaotkel Microdistrict at 2 Akshoky Lane, the center provides specially equipped facilities for people with disabilities, offering free access to its resources. The center serves as a crucial part of Kazakhstan's efforts to develop its Paralympic movement and modernize its sports infrastructure.
